Luckily the disk tray and all of its components are enclosed in a separate, sealed box inside the PS3. You can still take the box apart pretty easily. Carol Burnett as Miss Starlett in Went with the wind shirt My PS3 wasnt taking discs anymore and would just either spit them out or not be pulled all the way in. Took apart that disk drive and cleaned it. It kind of sucked getting the little gears all lined back up properly though.
